June 2-July 29, 2006: Heiva I Tahiti, Tahiti
The largest cultural festival in all of Tahiti is taking place at beautiful To'ata Square in Papeete, Tahiti, where the majority of the choral and dance groups gather every night to compete against each other for the best dance group or singing group. In addition, sporting events, cultural demonstrations, cuisine and artisan exhibits are held on Tahiti. See below for details.

July 4-8, 2006: International Open Golf Tournament, Tahiti
Located on the Atimaono Olivier Breaud Golf course in the city of Mataiea (about 45 minutes from Papeete)

July 10-13, 2006: South Pacific International Meeting on aromatic and medical plants 5th Edition (5eme Colloque International dur les Plantes Aromatiques et Medicinales Des Regions d'Outre-Mer). Held at the University of French Polynesia.

Mahana Park: Located in the city of Paea on the West Coast of Tahiti (about 35 minutes from Papeete)
Paofai: Next to the clinic Paofai located on the waterfront of Papeete
Toa'ta: Located on the south-west waterfront of Papeete
Vaiete: Located on the waterfront of Papeete next to "Les Roulottes" (Famous catering trucks)
Venus Point: Located in the city of Mahina on the East Coast at the black sand beach of Venus Point (about 30 minutes from Papeete)
Village Culturel: Location that stretches on the waterfront of Papeete from "la Place Jacques Chirac" to To'ata
