6-8: Featured in the last Tiare
News, the smallest island of the Marquesas
Archipelago, Tahuata, will host the first
edition of a Mini-Festival - "Matava'a
I Ti O Te Fenua Enana". For

March 6: Walk
to the "Ta'upoto" in Vaitapu for
the official opening of the event followed
by the traditional Marquesan lunch "Umu
Tao". In the afternoon, check out "Ha'a
Enata" where they celebrate a series
of traditional activities and end the day
with Marquesan songs and dances .
March 7: Depart
in the morning to Hapatoni for a Marquesan
cultural event. In the afternoon, return
to Vaitapu wfor more traditional activities.
In the evening starting at 7 pm, they close
the day with a singing and dancing celebration.
March 8: In the
morning, they celebrate traditional Marquesan
Cuisine with the tasting of samples. Closing
ceremony in the afternoon.

9-12: Tahiti Pearl Regatta
International yacht race where participants
sail between the islands of Raiatea, Bora
Bora, Taha'a and Huahine. For more information,
