Additionally, TripAdvisor honors five hotels in The Islands of Tahiti in its Travelers Choice Awards
New York, NY - January 30, 2017 – Tahiti Tourisme North America (TTNA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristin Carlson Kemper as Managing Director, effective February 1, 2017. TTNA is the Destination Marketing Office (DMO) for the country of French Polynesia, more commonly known as The Islands of Tahiti.
“I am honored to have been chosen by the board of Tahiti Tourisme North America as their new Managing Director. I look forward to continuing my relationship with our many dedicated and talented partners in the United States and The Islands of Tahiti to promote the stunning diversity of our beautiful destination,” said Ms. Kemper. “The Tahiti Tourisme team would also like to thank my predecessor, Jonathan Reap for his years of service to the destination and his unstinting devotion in promoting the island paradise. We wish him well in all his future endeavors.”
Ms. Kemper was appointed by the board of Tahiti Tourisme North America. She has spent six years with TTNA, most recently serving as Director of Marketing. Kemper brings more than 20 years of professional experience in the tourism industry, having previously worked at a number of reputable companies such as MeringCarson, Signature Travel Network and Crystal Cruises. In addition to her extensive tourism experience and mastery of TTNA marketing programs, Ms. Kemper also possesses a Master’s Degree in International Business and served as a Market Research Officer upon graduation for EURO RSCG Worldwide in Paris, France.
TTNA oversees all business and consumer outreach working regularly with prospective business developments such as airline, hotel, resort, tour operators and cruises in addition to overseeing all business and consumer outreach through marketing, advertising and public relation initiatives and programming.
The promotion of Ms. Kemper to the role of Managing Director reflects her unparalleled passion and dedication to serve as a leading figure for TTNA’s varied programs and initiatives.
