Tahiti Tourisme North America To Kick Off 2013 Mexico Travel Agent Workshop Series
October 29 2013

Tahiti Tourisme North America is pleased to announce the start of the upcoming Tahiti Tourisme North America Workshop Series for 2013 in Mexico. The workshop series is for qualified travel agents in Mexico and serves an introduction to the Islands of Tahiti and background about the overall destination offerings and partners throughout the islands.

Tahiti Tourisme North America Mexico workshops will kick off Tuesday, November 5 in Mexico City at the Hyatt Mexico City; followed by the Guadalajara workshop on Wednesday, November 6 at the Camino Real Guadalajara and the series concludes on Thursday, November 7 at the InterContinental in Monterrey.

Held as morning workshops, the first hour is dedicated to a “table top tradeshow” and networking between travel agents and participating partners. Breakfast is then offered and the Tahiti destination presentation is given followed by three-minute partner presentations that give a quick overview of the company and offerings. Doors open at 7:30am and the workshop concludes at 11am.

In addition to a detailed destination overview, the workshops will provide specific information about the five archipelagos, hotel & resort options, pensions/bed & breakfast offerings, yacht charter companies, cruise offerings, incentive options, spas, diving, activities, culture (dance, music, etc), cuisine and detailed information about the Tahiti Tiare Program, the travel agent certification program offered by Tahiti Tourisme North America.

Participating Tahiti partners included Air Tahiti Nui, the national carrier to the islands, Hilton French Polynesia, Le Meridien Tahiti & Bora Bora, Sofitel French Polynesia and South Pacific Management.

Tahiti Tourisme North America and partners expect more than 80 qualified travel agents attended the Mexico workshops.  There is still availability for travel agents to register for the workshops. Interested travel agents can contact Alfonso Barquin, Global Travel Reps at alfonso@globaltravelreps.com, +52 55 8421-3407 for additional information, dates and registration guidelines.
